Edits vs Adobe Premiere Mobile 2026: Two Free Apps, Which One?

Instagram's Edits and Adobe Premiere mobile are both free with 4K, watermark-free exports. They differ in editing style, captions, limits and who they suit.

Edits vs Adobe Premiere

These are the two strongest free phone editors right now, and both export 4K with no watermark. The difference is how they work: Edits is fast and CapCut-like for Reels, Premiere is more detailed for videos that need care.

Choose Edits if

You mostly make Reels and Shorts and know CapCut
You want bilingual captions and to post straight to Instagram
Your videos are under 10 minutes

Choose Adobe Premiere if

You don't want to link an Instagram account
You make talking videos and want unlimited captions and voice cleanup
You may move the project to Premiere on desktop later

Cost

Both are free. Edits has no paid plan right now. Adobe Premiere mobile only uses credits for generative AI (Firefly), currently iPhone only; Premiere on desktop needs a paid plan.

Verdict

Fast social clips: Edits. Carefully edited videos without depending on Instagram: Adobe Premiere. Since both are free, install both and try.
