ElevenLabs Pricing 2026: Free, Starter, Creator or Pro — Which Plan for a YouTube Channel?
ElevenLabs plans in October 2026, how many minutes of voiceover each one makes, which plans include a commercial license, and how to choose by how many videos you post.
ElevenLabs charges in credits: the more text it reads, the more credits you use. So the right question isn't "which plan is cheapest" but "how many minutes of voiceover does my channel need each month".
Current prices
According to the official pricing page on October 31, 2026 (monthly prices, before tax): Free is $0 with 10,000 credits (about 10 minutes of voice); Starter is $6 with 30,000 credits (about 30 minutes); Creator is $22 with 121,000 credits (about 121 minutes); Pro is $99 with 600,000 credits (about 600 minutes). Scale and Business sit above that for companies. Voices cover 74 languages on every plan.

Who each plan is for
- Free: trying voices and making drafts. No commercial license, so don't use it for monetized videos.
- Starter: small channels posting a few videos a month. Includes a commercial license, Instant Voice Cloning and Dubbing Studio for translating into other languages.
- Creator: channels posting voiceover videos every week. Adds one Professional Voice Clone and higher-quality audio (192 kbps).
- Pro: channels posting almost daily, or teams running several channels.
How many videos the credits cover
Take a 10-minute YouTube video with constant narration as the benchmark: Starter covers about 3 videos a month, Creator about 12, Pro about 60. For 45-second Shorts, Starter covers about 40. In practice it's a bit less, because you usually regenerate a few lines to get the delivery right, and every regeneration uses credits.
Commercial use
The pricing page lists the commercial license from Starter up. If your channel is or will be monetized, use a paid plan from the start instead of making videos on the free plan and re-uploading them later. Only clone your own voice, or someone else's with their consent.
Yearly or monthly?
The pricing page has a yearly billing option; the exact amount shows when you pick a plan. The first month often has a discount, but budget with the regular price so renewal doesn't surprise you. Only switch to yearly once you've used it steadily for 1–2 months and know how many minutes you need.
Quick pick
- Just trying voices, not publishing yet: Free
- 1–3 voiceover videos a month: Starter
- 2–3 videos a week, or a voice clone that really sounds like you: Creator
- Daily uploads across several channels: Pro
Quick answers
Is there a Vietnamese voice? Yes. Text-to-speech supports 74 languages, and dubbing supports 94 languages according to the official docs; both include Vietnamese.
What if I run out of credits mid-month? You can upgrade or wait for the next cycle. Before narrating a long script, test a few lines to pick the voice and avoid wasting credits on regenerations.
Do I need ElevenLabs for a few lines in Shorts? Usually not: CapCut's built-in voices are enough. See ElevenLabs vs CapCut text-to-speech.
